The Detroit Pistons selected Isaiah Livers with the 42nd pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Livers is a 6’8 forward out of the University of Michigan.
Livers, 23, appeared in 23 games this past season for the Wolverines, averaging 13.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 43.1% from the 3-point line. He missed a large chunk of last season with a right foot injury, a stress fracture that he had surgery on in April.
Livers projects to spend most of his minutes at the power forward spot in the NBA, stretching the floor at a high level.
Livers is the second prospect taken in the draft by Detroit. They selected Cade Cunningham with the first pick in the draft.
