REPORT: Pistons Trade Mason Plumlee, 37th Pick to Hornets

The Detroit Pistons have traded Mason Plumlee and thr 37th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft to the Charlotte Hornets for thr 57th pick, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Plumlee was signed by the Pistons in the 2020 offseason to a three-year $25 million deal. He averaged 106 points and 9.3 rebounds in 56 games for Detroit. He started in all 56 games he appeared in during the 2020-21 campagn.

It is currently unclear what else is involved in this trade, although it appears likely that more is to come. ‘
