As free agency gets set to kick off, the Pistons are reportedly interested in pursuing wingmen DeMar DeRozan and Norman Powell when free agency begins according to Jake Fisher of Bleacher Report.
Last season, DeRozan had another solid season with the San Antonio Spurs last year, averaging 21.6 points and 6.9 assist per game while playing 61 games.
Powell was efficient for both the Toronto Raptors and Portland Trailblazers as he averaged 18.6 points per game while shooting 41.1% from three point land in last years campaign. The guard also lit up the score sheets some nights, as he had 13 games with over 25 points. Two of these games were against the Pistons last year and also happen to be his best of the season, scoring 43 and 36 points on those nights.
With the Pistons’ latest moves, the potential of having Powell or DeRozan reunite with former head coach, Dwane Casey, has made it much more reasonable.
