The Detroit Pistons have acquired the 13th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Jalen Duren, a center out of Memphis, from the New York Knicks according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Duren, 6’11, averaged 12 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game in one season at Memphis.
Detroit will also acquire Kemba Walker in the trade, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Pistons will send New York the 2025 first-round pick of the Milwaukee Bucks, that they acquired in the Jerami Grant trade with Portland earlier this week.
The Pistons will still pick 36th in tonight’s draft.
Detroit is working to buy out the contract of Kemba Walker.
