The Detroit Pistons have reportedly placed Assistant General Manager Rob Murphy on administrative leave after starting an investigation into workplace misconduct according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. A former female employee alleged the misconduct, prompting the Pistons to begin looking into the matter.
Murphy was previously the General Manager for the G League Motor City Cruise before being promoted in June of 2022. Prior to that, he was an assistant coach for Kent State University and Syracuse before becoming the head coach at Eastern Michigan.
