The Pistons win Tuesday night over the Orlando Magic will be a costly one, as the NBA laid out suspensions for several players on both teams as a result of an altercation that occurred just before halftime. The NBA announced that guard Killian Hayes has been suspended three games, without pay, for his involvement in the scuffle. Magic center Moritz Wagner, who started the incident by pushing Hayes into the Pistons bench, is being suspended two games without pay.

Several eagle eye views of the incident saw Hayes escalating the fight by punching Wagner in the back of the head, resulting in a technical foul and automatic ejection.

Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo was suspended one game without pay. Diallo pushed Wagner from behind just after Hayes was shoved during a rush for a ball headed out of bounds. Eight additional players for Orlando, guards Cole Anthony, R.J. Hampton, Gary Harris, and Kevon Harris, forwards Admiral Schofield and Franz Wagner, and centers Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr. have each been suspended for one game without pay for leaving ehe bench area during an on-court altercation.

Hayes and Diallo will begin their suspensions Friday against the Bulls. In order to assure that the Magic have enough players to suit up for their next game, the suspensions will be staggered.
