The Detroit Pistons are reportedly trading Saddiq Bey to the Atlanta Hawks as part of the three team trade the Golden State Warriors for center James Wiseman, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Hawks are sending the Warriors five second-round picks to help facilitate the trade. Detroit is also sending Kevin Knox to Golden State to take in Wiseman’s salary, according to ESPN.

The move gives the Hawks another shooter, while the Warriors give Wiseman a fresh start elsewhere. Detroit previously had interest in Wiseman ahead of the 2020 NBA Draft, but he went number one overall to the Warriors instead. Wiseman has had a very up-and-down career so far marred by injuries and ineffective play, and still needs time to develop. Golden State gets some salary relief by moving Wiseman as well, in addition to the second round picks.
